This year the
Conference will be held in the cities of Piura and Tumbes,
both located in northern Peru.
Piura: |
|
Piura is located in the northern
coastal
part of the country, bordering with Lambayeque, Cajamarca,
Tumbes and Ecuador. It has a population of 1 449 656, in a
territory of 35 892.49 sq km. It´s capital city is
Piura (973 km from Lima). Its weather is tropical and
dry, with an annual average temperature of 24°C.
In summer temperature can reach 40°C. During the event
you can expect 25 - 27o C in the day, and 19 - 21o
C at night . The rainy season

Tumbes: |
Tumbes is also located in the northern
coastal part
of the country, bordering with Piura and Ecuador. It has a
population of 168 792 in a territory of 4 669 sq mk.
It´s capital city is Tumbes (1 256 km from Lima).
Weather is hot and wet all the year, due to its proximity to
the Equatorial Line. The annual average temperature is
30°C, exceeding 40°C in summer. (map).
In June, the average temperature will range from 19 (night) to
30 (day) degrees Celsius. |

no cost to
transport participants from Piura to Tumbes. Details about

smart casual unless
otherwise announced. |

Local Currency: The local currency is Nuevo Sol
(S/.). The exchange rate is around S/. 2.85 for US$.

etc. accept payment both in Nuevos Soles and in US Dollars.
For payment in Euros, we suggest to ask the waiter or
administrator beforehand.

easily find ATMs near the Conference Venues. ATMs
usually serve both local currency (nuevos soles) and US
Dollars.
