International Collaborations in Cyberinfrastructure-enabled Genomics Workshop

The  International Collaborations in Cyberinfrastructure-enabled Genomics Workshop will
bring together U.S. and Latin/South American scientists to discuss emerging issues in
utilization of cyberinfrastructure for genomics applications.

The two and a half-day workshop will provide an exciting forum for presentations by experts in cyberinfrastructure and  genomics to engage in discussion regarding barriers in yberinfrastructure utilization in the genomics fields as well as propose solutions to increasing the use of cyberinfrastructure in genomics.

Workshop Objectives
• Establish connections with international domain experts.
• Promote cyberinfrastructure enabled research.
• Generate collaborative research.
•  Promote/develop PhD student and post-doc exchange programs
between U.S. and Latin/South American scientists.
