B) Dr. Gotuzzo was elected President of the International Federation of Tropical Medicine Societies (IFTM) 2005-2008 at the Assembly Meeting in Marseille, France.
C) Drs. Alejandro Llanos and Jorge Arévalo traveled to Sicily, Italy to attend the Third World Congress on Leishmaniosis. They presented 5 abstracts, one of which won 2nd prize in the area of “Diagnosis of Leishmania” (Author: Biologist Karin Rothgiesser).
D) Investigation Award in HIV – Induquimica Pharmaceuticals: IX Congress of the Peruvian Society of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (SPEIT).
